CYDONIA

Foaled in 2015, Cydonia is sired by the legendary jumping stallion Christian. “Christian made his debut in the advanced jumping-course at the age of seven”, setting him up for an impeccable career. “In 2012, he had qualified with top scores for the final of the Bundeschampionat for six-year old show jumpers, after placing eighth in the class for five-year old show jumpers under Gilbert Böckmann in 2011. (Böeckman Horses).

Cydonia’s dam is none other than Cortez, a mare Matthew also bred and produced up to 1.45m level. A testament to Matthew’s vision and dedication!

A fun fact - as the breeder, producer and rider Matthew is the only person to have ever ridden Cydonia! 

 

At home, Cydonia is an all round nice guy. After stepping up to Grand Prix level on the Queensland circuit last year, Matthew and Cydonia have their sights set on racking up some more Grand Prix mileage and experience with the ultimate aim to compete at the highest level.
