BROWN AS HE IS KNOWN AT HOME IS SO LOVED BY HIS OWNER THAT HE GETS A SPECIAL DELIVERY EVERY MONTH!

BILLIONAIRE NZPH or simply BROWN at home is being partnered by Phillip Lever and below is thier story.

BROWN was bread by the Hansen family when they were running the famous New Zealand Performance Horses Stud. Brown stands at an incredible 17hh and he was born in 2010. His Sire was Calvaro Z and his Dam was Tax Blues NZPH… Tax Blues is by Mr Blue and on her Dams side you can see Feitche Du Pas who is by the amazing Le Tot de Semilly. Calvaro Z has amazing lineage with Cor De La Bryere and Capitol I on both sides. When you see Brown's breeding even though is he classified Warmblood, you will notice there is quite a lot of Selle Francais blood across both Sire and Dam and this is perhaps why he has such athletic ability.

So for some history lets focus on the Dams side and the amazing Stallion Le Tot de Semilly. Although he passed away in 2008 he is renowned as one of the best sires in the world! He was ranked Elite in the Selle Francais studbook, and he was the very first horse to actually be sponsored by the French Equestrian Federation. He has sired more than 1000 jumping winners. His 2 best progeny are Diamant de Semilly and Itot du Chateau who both likely need no introduction. He passes on to his offspring his top rideability, strength, carefulness, great jumping style, soundness and the fighting spirit of the best showjumpers.

This story is however about the beautiful Brown, Phil and Brown have not been a partnership for very long, in fact just a few months, however they have had some memorable moments already. As a team just 8 weeks into their partnership they both jumped in the Australian Jumping Championships and came runner up! An incredible achievement. They followed this up with a 4th at the Sale World Cup, a 4th at the Summer Classic World Cup and an incredible 1st in the Summer Classic 1.50m.

Brown is owned and very much loved by Deidre Hartog of Orchard Equestrian and because he is so so loved he gets a special delivery every month of Stud Muffins (For those of you are thinking the Dictionary meaning, you would be wrong!) Stud Muffins as we learnt when writing this are in fact an incredible tasty horse treat.  These are Browns most loved treats.

On the other side and a nod to what he really dislikes, Good luck catching him! When he is happy in his paddock he likes to stay there (Lucky you have those Stud Muffins Phil!). His other dislike are those nasty thing’s called jump poles. Brown will do everything he can to not touch them!

Brown is also a horse who has 1 other quirk..He can be a little difficult to get onto and once you are on him he is super sensitive to your movement. The rider must be very still and very balanced

Brown is beautiful he has the kindest eye and he also has such a huge heart, he is very loved not only by his owner Deidre but all who meet him despite his quirks.  It’s super exciting to be on a journey with a new partnership and watch them grow and based on the results of thier very early time together there is plenty to come from these two!
